SUCCESS
What is meant by success? Success for me means setting and attaining goals. It means happiness and a loving family. Success means different things to different people. Most people feel that success can only be found in material things, such as money. However, money is not a good way to measure success because most people will find disappointment when using money as their evidence of success.
Success should be measured by your accomplishments and achievements. It must be experienced throughout your lifetime. It can be measured by how well your dreams become reality. Success can be how well you treat yourself and the ones you love.
There are other ways to measure success. You must look inside yourself and find the best way to measure your own success.
My goal for writing this book is to motivate you to believe in yourself, to state your dreams, set your goals, and SUCCEED!

TO SUCCEED REQUIRES SETTING GOALS,
HARD WORK AND DETERMINATIONTHE ROAD TO SUCCESS
The first thing you must do on your road to success is accept the things in your past, accept the hurt and the pain. Forgive and forget. In order to get on the road to success you must first let go of the negative things in your past. If it was pain and hurt, you must feel it. If you were hurt by someone you must forgive him/her. You must forgive yourself if you hurt someone. And, in the final analysis, you must get on with your life. You must remember that you did the best you could. Release the negative past. Be optimistic. What is more important, you must focus on the positive things in your past. The winners in life highlight their wins. They discuss them and proudly show off their awards and accomplishments. Encircle yourself with things that make you feel successful.
Some have it harder than others, but whatever happened in your past, you can conquer. Make a decision to be bigger than what has happened to you.
Use positive self-talk. To be a winner you must learn to talk positive to you about you. Everyone talks to himself/herself, but how you talk to you influences how you will feel. If you say good things to you, you will feel good. But if you say bad things to you, you will feel bad. If you say things that are bad to yourself such as: "I con not do this work, it is too hard. I am not smart enough for this school, I am too stupid I am not able to learn. I am not good at cooking. I am just too fat. I am not good with people." Whenever you talk to yourself in this manner it damages your self-esteem and takes away from your ability to act.
