- Bedroom cabinets, Vinyl ceiling, Bay carpet & Tanks -

It's seems like it's been months since we've worked on the bus, or updated this website! We took a couple weekends off to have birthday fun with friends. We went to the Stagecoach country music concert in Coachella - that was a lot of fun (except when I thought I left my purse in the women's restroom and looked for it for an hour or so. Roy found it hanging on his chair, and saved the day!

Art is also getting his bike ready to perform with the Victor McLaglen Motor Corp in July. They'll be performing at the Vintage Bike Days in Lexington, OH. It's great that they still consider him part of the family and ask him to join them every now and then! He enjoys doing that you know. :)

Ok, now for bus stuff. Art, Larry and Brandon covered the inside of the bays with indoor/outdoor carpet. Then the boys installed the inverter. Art also ordered and received the tanks... wooo-hoooo, moving right along!

We're just about done with the bedroom cabinets. Sure is a lot of woodworking! You can see in the first picture here, that I had a mishap with a finished cabinet face. It fell off the table while I was cutting the next one. I cried. :( Art glued it back together, and it was like new again. We stained them and put them up. Art finished one nightstand face, and is also working on the face for the other nightstand this weekend.

The small cabinet doors in the headboard will have inset handles, so we needed to carve the handle holes.

We also started on the vinyl ceiling. We're still not sure what we're doing, but so far, so good I think!

We have been seaching and searching for a round shower, and we finally found one! The Maax, 37" Freestyle Round shower. Here we drew out the shower in chalk to make sure it will fit ok in the space we allowed for it. We may have to pull the shower about 5" out from the wall, so the height of the shower will fit into the curve of the ceiling, but it looks like we can make it work.
