- Bedroom cabinets, headboard & bed pedestool -

This was a very exciting week for us because we were able to put all these things into place. It's starting to look like a real bedroom now!!! woooo-hooo!

This small board fits behind the headboard, between the top cabinet, and the top shelf of the headboard. We covered it with wallpaper, then glued and nailed the board into place.

As with so many other things, I made a cardboard pattern for the face of this cabinet. I also attached a cardboard pattern for the door, so we could make sure it would swing all the way open. I still need to make the pattern for the other side.

I'm deligently working on the ozite. This bed is a big ozite project! Art drilled holes in the headboard to run outlet electricity down through the nightstands. Future son-in-law (it's official now!) Louis, and his father, Louie helped install the headboard. (Visitors are not safe around here -- LOL!!!)

Voila! Not quite done, but sure feels g-r-e-a-t nonetheless!

Next weekend we plan to make the step on each side of the bed, ozite the top corner cabinets, and make the face for the other side. Art would also like to do some generator wiring, and order the tanks. We've both been looking for a round shower. I really want round, and have seen it several times before, just having a hard time finding one!
