- Baywork, Bedroom Wood, Wood, Wood -

Bill, Terri, Matt & Kate stopped by for a bit to show us their new toy. It is be-ea-au-ti-ful! I can't wait till we are out on the road with all those who already have their toys!

In the meantime, Rinne and I worked on the cobblestone door mat the past two weekends. Don't look at the black smudge on Rinne's cheek, or the silly look on my face, look at the cobblestone! We still need to put a few coats of polyurethane on it before it's really done. This is a test model. The big rocks, and the grout for the pebbles are made of paper mache. If it wears well, hold-ups to water, cleans well, and doesn't hurt bare feet, I may find a place in the bus for it.

Art and Dan worked diligently on the other two bays,
and got those all boxed in with 3/4" plywood.

The rest of the time Art and I worked on the bedroom woodwork. All the wood for the bed pedestool and the headboard have been cut, joined (when needed), stained, and finished. wooo-hooo! We moved the headboard into the house so we could work on it during the week while the bus was in storage. LOL - I don't have to tell you how high the dust was on everything by the end of the week! I think we have officially lost our minds!! We even took the top middle cabinet face down to add a little handcrafting and refinish. We decided to try the spray polyurethane, and like that so much more.

This week it will be my job to complete the ozite behind the headboard and in the pedestool so we can put all that wood up next weekend.... so stay tuned!
