- Co-pilot floor, Bed frame, Wall-liner -

I think we're getting back into our grove! We made some progress this past week. This is our rough draft of our co-pilot floor. When it's all done, the dash will have vinyl on it, and the floor will be made of hardwood. We're wondering if the hinge we used will be strong enough. We'll probably know that answer before we make the final draft version.

The bed frame is almost complete too. We'll still be working around it to put the cabinets in, so we didn't put any wood on it yet.

And, we also put up about 2/3rds of the wallpaper liner on the drivers side wall. This was a new experience for me. Even though I've put up a little bit of wallpaper here and there... this was not pre-pasted. It's a heavy duty wall-liner, and we're hoping it will withstand the flex in the walls, so our decorative wallpaper does not tear where the plywood seems move about.

We're putting up the wallpaper (and soon the vinyl ceiling) so we can build the cabinets in the bedroom. Likewise we built the frame for the bed, so we can put the mattress into place, and know how high the nightstands need to be, and so we can plan the dimensions of all the bedroom cabinets.
