- Curved ceiling; Top refrigerator vent -

It's been 2 years today since this project begun! I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel yet (pun intended) ... but that's ok... we have time!! :)

I'm glad we found a use for the leftover Kemlite! As you can see, it will be the curved transition section from wall to ceiling. In the first picture we experimented with the wood and kemlite to see what would work the best when attaching the two. We decided on nails, as the screws stripped out too easily. We also decided to cut 8 foot sections, rather than trying to work with 30 plus feet sections. We set a piece of angle iron at the top of the ceiling, and made sure our routed grove on the wall plywood was straight, then easily set the piece of kemlite into place. Well, maybe not so easily, but we are reminded - That which does not kill you, makes you stronger! LOL

We also made a hole in the roof, and installed the top refrigerator vent. We took a chance leaving the hole open for a day, as it is thunderstorm season here. Art got the vent cover installed just in the nick of time.. as you can see by the last couple of pictures, our rain drenched friends and children hanging out in the bus with us!
