- Leak detail -

(Wel-l-l-l-l-l, I asked Art to take "a" picture of me so I can prove I still am helping... then every time I turned around, he had the camera again!)

We're back to leakproofing again - now the driver side. Once we get this done, we can put in the inner wall - and the windows on this side!

Art is working on the top rivet line, and I'm working on the beltline. We are removing, and countersinking some of the rivets. Others are just replaced with rivets coated in sikaflex. Art is also pulling the sikaflex from the top seam, and filling with with fiberglass,
like he did on the other side.

The countersunk rivets get a coat of glass over the top, and then sanded for a smooth (and hopefully invisible) finish. We found if you close your eyes (or look away), you can feel every little bump and divet, to determine where more sanding is needed.
We are doing this just to the rivets in the immediate area of the windows, so the protruding rivets don't interfere with the installation of the windows.

There is always time for a little silliness!

Even though we didn't quite finish this task yet, we are sooooo close, I think we'll be able to get to the walls and windows next weekend!!!
