Project Eagle

October 12 - 17, 2004

I was able to go out to bus often, and work on my sanding project. The engine cover is now free of the surface rust, and has a coat of primer. Art cut and ground off all the seat supports from the frame, and put on a coat of primer. Then we tore up the floor to reveal the rust we found in the wheel well. Art revamped the plastic well cover with fiberglass, and did a great job! Fixing the frame in this well will be our next project. Looks like the driver side may have some rust also, although not as much. Woo-hoo! The rear wells look pretty darn good, so maybe this is the worst of it.
