After realizing that we made the shelf grooves on the outside (wrong side) of one of the side panels, we started over and made another side panel. Because we were learning the new saw, I didn't quite have the calculations right so we had to start again. The above picture is take 3 of that side panel of the cabinet. As I was cutting the opening for the kick space, Art realized that even though we were cutting it correctly on this panel, we had it incorrect on the first panel. Instead of 3 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches back, as the other side of the kitchen is... on the first panel, it is opposite. We had the choice of scrapping the first panel, and starting all over... or living with the kick space being slightly different on the two sides of the kitchen. We chose not to scrap the first panel. We'll see how many people actually read this, by how many people say... it's too bad you couldn't get your kick spaces identical! lolI already partically cut the the corner out when Art realized it. So this shows where I almost cut, and the pencil mark, which indicates where the final cut ended up.
